Context and Content: Chronicling the Fall

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

context-and-content-chronicling-the-fall.jpgThere is a lot being said about context recently.  It is vitally important, and some are always learning the hard way. There is something else that’s equally important too, and that’s content. The article “Is this Finally the Economic Collapse,” written by Keith R. McCullough in Fortune Magazine supplies enough evidence to answer the question affirmatively.  Yes, this is it. When the Federal Reserve begins to buy Treasury dept it signals the end of the American economy.  It’s the monster turning on itself.  It’s cannibalizing from which there is no return. It’s collapse.

It is the collapse of the dollar as a currency along with the necessity to replace it.  And this is where Obamites get their wish come true.

Specifically, its’ the catch in transferring to the new stable world currency: a new exchange board with particular dials and knobs.  All assets will be reevaluated along political lines and those are the red lines of communism.  Requirements are set to be put in place which will limit the quantity of certain assets that can be legally held in private ownership.

That’s right.  It’s how redistribution of wealth will finally be accomplished, and it’s being engineered by people in our own government.  Everyone is about to become a slave to the state, and put on tight community rations.

The new Exchange Czar will also have authority to mandate severe public service requirements for all citizens on pretense of working through the catastrophe.  We can see that coming as easy as we can see that cities are no longer able to pay for basic services.  The term ‘taking out the garbage’ is about to take on a whole new meaning.

With the stroke of his pen, Americans immediately become surfs, and as peasants under economic feudalism they will also be required to grow a large proportion of their own food.  In this way they can be kept busy and not allowed time to think, or to organize.

They will need to verify agrarianism in order to continue to qualify for government issued grocery passes that must be presented at point of sale in supermarkets to buy food.  Little or no beef will be allowed to most of the newly created peasants in order to keep them docile.  That will be justified by the Obamacare law where new federal guidelines will be tweaked for our health.

It will be the watershed that forces the religion of global warming onto everyone to further control them, and the sustainites will be dancing in the streets and openly worshiping Gore and Obama as the earth’s high priests.

And this is only step one into the collapse that’s been planned and is being implemented.  The next steps require the application of Bible prophecies to see them clearly.  This first step, however, doesn’t seem to require a pound of spiritual discernment to make it out, but people are capable of bringing their own fog with them when groping for the shoreline.

This is precisely the reason why people like Andrew Leonard at Salon.com make light of this economic development, and disintegrates into correct attribution of quotes.  They are standing outside with their thumb in the air checking for wind direction when they don’t realize the water is up to their chin and they are about to drown.

In his article, McCullough quoted Alexis De Tocqueville to have observed: “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.”

Leonard, on the basis of showing that it could not be found as worded to come from De Tocqueville, dismissed McCullough’s warning as conservatism criticizing the White House. Let’s for the moment say that the quote was scribbled on the bathroom wall, what about the substance of the observation?  It’s proved to be completely true.  So will McCullough’s waring.

There is still a debate as to whether Benjamin Franklin said: “When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” The reason maxims like these survive despite a cloud over their authorship is due to the accuracy of their contents.   The reason people fail to heed their warnings or take them seriously is they don’t understand that content matters.

Going to the Dogs: My Dog Needs a Check

Friday, July 30th, 2010

my-dog-needs-a-check.jpgWith all Obama’s bailouts of favored companies, and his inclusion of everyone else under the federal umbrella of stipends, even my dog is looking forward to getting a check.   Scout, that’s his name, looks east towards the White House and barks twice every day in anticipation. At first I thought he was being patriotic, and that he was angered over Obama destroying our country. But I came to realize it was another rear end that he was focused on.  Scout has a twitch in one of his hinder parts that goes off like a repeating jolt when he’s asleep.

It’s so bad that when we are walking him his rear leg kicks up to his side like he’s got an itch to scratch, but when my wife and I stop to oblige him he only looks up at us - no itch.  My wife noticed that he’s got two swirls in his fur, one on each hind quarter.  That’s the view of him we see most of the time on these walks as we hold on for dear life.

The more I got to looking at them, the more I thought they looked like those crop circles you see in remote areas where aliens are supposed to have visited.  I called my breeder and asked if they’re seeing any bright lights in the sky up there at night.  My wife thinks he might have been abducted.

Then I put two and two together, the barking and the jolts, and realized my dog must have animal Turrets.  He can’t seem to control his barks towards the White House, and I am sure now that he is involuntarily cursing in dog language.

I think this must qualify my dog for Social Security Disability.  If illegal aliens can get these checks, and Obama fights Arizona to keep our borders open to get them here to pay them, I know it’s only a matter of time before he approves checks for dogs.  And anyway, my dog was born here!

It will be his pay off to the animal rights lobby as soon as he finishes paying off the other lobbies that got him elected, like the unions and illegal aliens.  Come to think of it, this would be his master stroke in ‘spreading the wealth’ that finds the last great outlet for the treasury to cast all our currency to the wind in bankrupting America.

Hey, maybe I got this all wrong, maybe my dog is being patriotic.  He could have his sights set on the White House for another reason.  And my dog would make a better president.  Now, that would be taking a bite out of crime.

Philly: Illegal Aliens Populate Witness Protection

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

illegal-aliens-populate-witness-protection.jpgPhiladelphia Mayor Michael Nutter has brokered a compromise deal with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that allows the feds access to arrest records in their search for illegal aliens. The records ICE now has access to will exclude information on victims and witnesses. Nutter was concerned that subjecting illegal aliens to exposure to law enforcement would dampen their spirit towards reporting crime.1

Never mind that this leans dangerously in the direction of creating a privileged class who are at the same time protected by the law and exempt from the law. Illegal aliens are criminals.

Remember that this is the same population of criminal crusaders upon whose backs is borne the entire Philadelphia justice system, and Nutter has previously stated that without their support that system would collapse.2

What Nutter’s compromise amounts to is a witness protection program protecting criminals; not from other criminals, but shielding them from our own federal agents. And it is the most costly of such programs in existence. A look at national figures for illegal immigrants gives some idea of those costs that are supported on the backs of American tax-payers.

The cost of incarcerating illegal aliens since 2008, $26 billion; the cost of educating children of illegals since 1996, $171 billion; the cost of social services for illegals since 1996, $397 billion.3

The costs are so devastating that illegals are literally bankrupting entire cities.4  What’s needed is a new protection program for Americans; such as enforcing existing immigration law. Can I get a witness?

Illegal Aliens Indispensable Crime Fighters

Monday, July 5th, 2010

illegal-aliens-indispensible-crime-fighters.jpgThe mayor of Philadelphia has unveiled a secret component of the city’s law enforcement so vital that removing it would cause irreparable harm to crime fighting.  The disclosure came when Michael Nutter revealed he is opposed to giving full access of arrest records to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) so that they could identify illegal aliens. Nutter himself refuses to identify illegal aliens, who continue to break that law by staying here illegally, as “criminals,” and refers them as merely “undocumented.”1 In his effort to get other city officials to support him in defying ICE, Nutter is touting the illegals as a special pool of “victims and witnesses” who are keeping the Philadelphia justice system from collapsing.   Nothing, like enforcing immigration law,  must be done that would impede their feeling “comfortable in coming forward and giving us information. Otherwise, the system will fall apart,” according to Nutter.2

At least here is where the term ‘undocumented’ really applies; there is absolutely no way such a ridiculous claim can be substantiated.  But it’s more than ridiculous, it’s insulting.

In other words, what Nutter is saying is Philadelphia’s entire law enforcement system of discovering, aprehending, and prosecuting criminals depends on the eyes and ears of illegal aliens and their ongoing contribution of information gathering and reporting.  These criminals are so dedicated to the spirit of  law and order, and to the law abiding citizens around them, that they have comprised an undercover crime fighting network practically sworn to uphold the law.

In essence, Philadelphia’s illegal aliens are always working tirelessly to keep Philadelphia safe from lawbreakers.

Next we expect Nutter to reveal that the motto of these undocumented crusaders is ‘honor, service, integrity.’ It is hard to imagine a more insulting, cold, wet slap in the face to every police officer, detective, and city attorney working long hours, risking life, health, and vexation of spirit responding to and dealing with the victims and criminals in a modern American city in 2010.  Hopefully, they are all registered voters come November.

New Free Speech Law: Look for the Union Label

Sunday, June 27th, 2010

look-for-the-union-label.jpgIn the spirit of tyrants and dictators, President Obama publically rebuked the Supreme Court during his State the Union Address for striking down the McCain-Feingold campaign regulations that unfairly prohibited companies and associations from advertising political views.  At the same time, Obama asked Congress to pass new legislation to circumvent the court, and now they have done so.  The Disclose Act, if it passes the Senate, will severely restrict all businesses from running political ads with the exception of big labor unions.  These unions, outspending all others, spent $420 million in 2008 to get Democrats elected, and the Democrats want to get elected again.

To have a better chance at returning to office, they must control the narrative, and especially in light of what the Democrats are actually doing to America. One way is to shut everyone up except the American Federation of Labor (AFL-CIO), the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the National Education Association (NEA), and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). This is because the Unions and the Democrats have long and exclusive relationship.

The Democrats pass legislation that favors unions so that union bosses can get wealthy, and the unions control their members to deliver votes for Democrats in return.   To make that control more efficient, Democrats have over the years given unions unbelievable powers.

In many states today, workers must join a union as a condition of employment, or at least pay a reduced agency fee which is approximately 40% of member dues.  The Unions, or favored large companies, never lose.  Even in tough economic times where unions are a large part of the reason for car manufacturers going bankrupt, Democrats step in and bail them out with taxpayer money.

Even when they persuade members to take unpaid furlough days on the pretense of saving jobs, it’s really for the purpose of retaining dues payers, and union dues never take a furlough. This is why Democrats and unions are for illegal immigration; they desire as many uneducated and easily managed members and voters as they can get.

One way to level the playing field and to show your patriotism is to never join a union. Another way is to quit your union if you are a member.  You may still have to pay an agency fee, or dissenters’ fee, but you keep more of you hard earned money, and do you part in fighting tyranny.

Some may fear that losing union protection means being put at the mercy of maniacal employers who will destroy their lives at a whim.  That is what the unions want people to think; like the Democrats they rule by threats and through fear.  There are Federal and State labor laws, and plenty of labor attorneys to represent you.

And if you are an employee who knows their job and is dependable and competent you are too valuable to lose in a union company where many union members don’t pull the share of the load.  However, if you don’t know your job, are incompetent, and do as little as possible to get by, you should stay in the union; you’re a perfect union member.

Different Lottery Brought Down Maywood

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

maywood-lottery1.gifA different type of lottery may have brought down the city of Maywood, California.  In 2006, Maywood boasted of being a sanctuary city for illegal aliens, turning a blind eye to illeagal immigration and encouraging illegals to make Maywood their destination.  Illegal aliens are law-breakers who come to America to break more laws to get free stuff.  It’s been referred to as ‘working the system’ to obtain free housing, food, healthcare, child care (through the 12th grade), and an opportunity to play the lawsuit lottery.

The object of this lottery is to provoke a city official, or government agency, or school district employee in order to draw a foul.  The idea is to sustain a small injury that will be the substance of a lawsuit for millions of dollars in punitive and emotional damages.

This lawsuit baiting begins as early as elementary school and is also practiced with police officers in the street.  Citing liability claims that reached $12 million in 2006, Maywood’s insurance carrier California Joint Powers Insurance Authority decided to terminate the city’s insurance effective July 1, 2010.

They specifically mention officer involved incidents for the costs. Last year, an investigation by the attorney general’s office found that there was “widespread overuse of force,” but in a city that advertises to criminals to relocate there the escalation of force is inevitable.

Contracted Cities Lead To Ghettos

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

contracted-cities1.jpgCities across America have squandered so much money they are now facing bankruptcy and the need to fire hundreds of employees and contract with outside agencies for services.  The city of Maywood, California will begin contracting many services including hiring an outside police department.  Some contracting makes sense as government services are notoriously wasteful and inefficient, or downright ridiculous.  For example, take the millions upon millions for street sweeping where it is not needed, and where it does more harm than good (unless you like mud stripes in front of your house, and playing hide your car one day a week; $60 if they find you).  But there is a line to be drawn at contracting law enforcement.

Philosophically, law enforcement stems from the enactment of certain laws by a citizenry who takes on the responsibility of enforcing those laws for the public good. Of course, cities and the Federal government have largely disconnected that citizenry over the years by edicts from unaccountable bureaucrats, executive orders, and things done in assemblies and in congress that shouldn’t happen in nightmares.

Still, the disassociation of enforcement and citizenry inevitably leads to a ghetto environment.  Employees who live outside a community don’t have the same stake in the quality of life of a community where they work as they do in the community they return home to at the end of the day.  They don’t associate themselves with the effects of their actions.  Witness what bussing has done to the public school system; now an assortment of ghetto microcosms across the nation complete with fences and armed guards.
