The idea behind the theory of Global Warming is that mankind’s influence over climate is so powerful that nothing short of sharp reductions in our use of fossil fuels will prevent catastrophic consequences in the next few years. Alas, scientific research into climate change continues to produce data which disputes the theory, and now Noel Keenlyside, marine scientist in Germany, finds that temperatures for the coming decade will be opposite those forecasted by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPPC). “The IPCC would predict a 0.3°C warming over the next decade,” Keenlyside reports, “Our prediction is that there will be no warming until 2015 but it will pick up after that.”¹

The reason for the discrepancy between the two predictions is that the IPCC neglected to use these ocean temperature figures in their climate models. This would lead them, for example, to misinterpret the cause for 1998 supposedly being one of the warmest years on record. What should the IPCC models have included in them? El Nino, and Gulf Stream records reveal them as the real culprits.

But don’t look for retractions from the IPCC, or Al Gore, just yet. Scientists getting paid to be in the global warming camp are now in the majority, and the few who dare to publish their findings that discredit them timidly advance that natural climate variations only “temporarily offset” manmade global warming.²

In related news, snow surveys conducted by state and federal agencies in the United States are forecasting the best year for water runoff in 11 years in places like Colorado, which has a snow pack that is 23% above average. These wet conditions are also said to be in store for the Pacific Northwest, where snowfall has been significant, and cold temperatures have prevented it from melting before the spring thaw. Lake Powell and other reservoirs are expected to gain enough water from the runoff for hydroelectric plants “to power 33,00 homes for a year,”³ in addition to reversing drought conditions (an 8% increase) . The culprit in this cool development: the Jet Stream. With temporary offsets like these, who needs the IPCC? Answer: politicians without a career, and a United Nations without a claim to authority.

The first jackboot of Global Warming fanaticism hit the floor down under when Australian professor Barry Walters revealed plans for penalizing people who refused to circumscribe their lives by the doomsday theory of global warming. As is usually the case when political factions can’t win the day with facts, they campaign to force their views through punitive taxation coupled with special exemptions for extraordinary compliance. Thus Walter’s $800 annual carbon tax per child for families who surpassed the states two-child limit could be offset by carbon credits earned from voluntary sterilization.¹

Since the Walters leak last December global warming faithful have been scrambling for a microphone and an outrageous new proposal to make. While the competition has been fierce, it appears that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has pulled ahead of the pack by renewing his call for global carbon taxation, and adding new penalties for suspected global warmers.

The mayor pitched his worldwide carbon tax plan at the UN’s “Addressing Climate Change: the United Nations and the world at Work” conference. There were few surprises in his call for the UN to punitively tax countries, including America, to create an incentive for them to tow the global warming party line (he wants Americans to levy the tax on themselves, and then turn the revenues over to the UN). The other boot dropped, however, when Bloomberg began drawing parallels between suspected global warmers and terrorists.

Bloomberg likened suspected global warmers to terrorists as having “the same potentials of destroying the planet we live on.”² While the mayor used the tactic of place card switching, substituting the verb of global warming for the people actually in his cross hairs, his vociferous call to action against those who fail to subscribe to the theory of global warming must have been unmistakable to the crowd at the UN. Then Bloomberg got to the point in his discursive sophistry which was to declare hunting season on these enemies of the UN State. “We should go after terrorists every place in this world, find them and kill them, plain and simple,” said the rising master of double entendre.³ To make sure his double meaning was not lost, Bloomberg artfully avoided mentioning that the real terrorists are Muslim, and this no doubt gave the UN despots some villains they could finally draw sabers against.

Quick to lace up and jump on board with Bloomberg in the hunt for suspected warmers was airline mogul Richard Branson, owner of Virgin Atlantic Airways. Branson pledged the financial might of his Luftwaffe, to the tune of $25 million, for scientists to find a “solution” for heading off the impending environmental catastrophe.⁴

This search for a final solution seems to be an eerily recurring theme in the Green Reich, and Branson might be letting slip that he is poised for military maneuvers, of sorts. In what may be an effort to unleash his air force by official UN sanction, Branson hinted at the formation of a global UN situation room form where, presumably, targets could be assessed and air strikes could be launched. “We need a war room,” Branson told the UN attendees, who by that time must have set in rapt euphoria, listening to celebrities and members in United States government competing to find out who could click their heels the loudest. It will be interesting to see in the next round of fanaticism how heil they can go.

For the Global Warming faithful, technology and religious fervor are combining to provide new means for adulation. In order to reduce carbon emissions caused by jet travel, Prince Charles will attend the upcoming World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi via hologram. His three dimensional image will be beamed to the stage and deliver a five minute talk, thus marking a first for the royal family, and pleasing environmentalists.

Charles is not the first world figure to employ the technique of reduction and reanimation. Last year Al Gore made a holographic appearance at a Live Earth gathering at Whembley Stadium.

That the religious faithful of environmentalism readily receive their Icons in obvious simulation, at what amounts to their worship services, is telling for the condition of the world.

Technology and human behavior are showing Bible prophecy to be less a product of metaphysical language and symbolism, and more the literal word of God; explicitly detailing the future. Bible passages that were once wondered at with some perplexity now seem to specify circumstances and events that fallen religious man will easily acclimate to.

Prophecy speaks of two world leaders who are yet to come on the stage of human history and rule by both civil and religious authority. One of them will serve the other in capacity of prophet, magnifying him with miracles:

And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. (Rev 13:14)

His boss, identified as the Antichrist, will have survived an assassination attempt prompting this religious display. And just as members to the Green Reich are mandating their observances into law today, penalties will also be established for dissidents in the near future:

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Rev 13:15)

Many in Christendom allegorize these end-time prophecies found in The Revelation, or claim that they were fulfilled by the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 by the Romans. But the reality of unfolding world events continues to contradict that view. While no one knows the identity of the coming two leaders, the world is proving ready to follow them when they are finally revealed.

Details of a final solution plan are surfacing as Global Warming insiders break silence and go public with the methods of choice for ushering in a Green Reich. Professor Barry Walters of Australia leaked particulars of the radical agenda that includes a birth levy of $5,000 and an annual carbon tax of $800 thereafter for families exceeding two children.

But that may be only the tip of the “greenhouse-friendly”¹ living conditions to be enforced on wayward humans who are “profligate”² consumers before the goddess Gaia. Other services will be offered to allow the irreverent to earn carbon credits and will include credits for voluntarily undergoing sterilization.

Ostensibly, parents who are unable to meet the tax burdens will have their children confiscated and terminated, and then be forced to undergo sterilization themselves. No word yet on the amount of carbon credits earned during this penalty phase of greenhouse-friendly service.

A meteorite crashed down in Peru last weekend leaving hundreds of people sick who ventured near the crater. Witnesses reported seeing “fiery ball falling from the sky” before it landed in the remote area near the Bolivian border. So far, 200 people are reporting symptoms which include nausea and respiratory difficulties. The health department director for the area has attributed the cause of the illnesses to toxic fumes released from the crater which measures 66 feet wide by 16 feet deep.

Other experts are skeptical, and suggest the cause is the dust that was raised by the impact. Geologist Ursala Mervin, who has studied meteorites at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory in Massachusetts, indicated that if gas were present it would not have come from the meteorite, but instead from the earth; and in too small an amount to have any effect.

Photographs of the crater show a pool of water has accumulated in it, probably from rain, and there is local concern “that toxic fumes from the meteor are polluting water in the area.” So far eight doctors have been dispatched to tend to the sick, but there is no word on the water quality yet. There is word on a future such event that will bring catastrophic results:

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. Global Warming ambassador Al Gore is finding out that politicians without a cause can make a comeback by hitching their wagon to United Nations Globalists’ crusades, but not without eventually being pressured to take communion. Gore, know for weight gains between political campaigns, is being targeted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) for his meat consumption. Because the UN Food and Agriculture Organization claims that animal agriculture is responsible for 18 percent of all greenhouse gas emissions, compared to only 13.5 percent for all transportation methods combined, Peta wants Gore to become more than a convert of convenience to the Green religion; that would mean going vegetarian.

Peta also hitched their wagon to Global Warming when they saw the potential to put political and legislative clout behind their own religious beliefs which hold that animals have the exact same rights as humans, and even more in some cases. For Peta, eating meat is murder, but vegans are not newly arrived with their cakes of flour and meal, and other offerings, to worship the queen of heaven and other gods (Jer 44:19). Worshiping creatures and the host of heaven, or the stars and constellations, and planets is a very old religion (2 Ki 17:16); and it is a mainstay of Satan because a vegetarian diet has the potential to render one more susceptible to demonic possession.

It remains to be seen whether Gore will take the meal cake pledge. Thus far, he has proved unlikely to join the rank-and-file planet worshiping agrarians by altering his transportation style or down-scaling his domicile (as he suggests for others to do), and will probably exempt him self from this latest inconvenient challenge to his opulent lifestyle. If pressure by Peta draws enough press, Gore can be expected to buy off the criticism by trading carbon credits. What are those? It is a currency invented, in part, by wealthy elites to use as penance money to perpetuate their elitists’ lifestyles while dictating to others, less fortunate then them, on how, and what, to worship. It works like this: carbon credits can be purchased from companies that will use the money for projects such as renewable energy and reforestation. Gore can continue to dine on stake guilt free so long as he pays to have a trees planted, or contributes solar paneling to an electric grid somewhere. Such are the lifestyles of the rich and blameless.

Pope trains up new high-priesthood as oracles to save planet earth

The Roman Catholic Church’s first Italian Save Creation Festival was held in Loreto, Italy, on September 2. Pope Benedict XVI officiated the eco-friendly youth rally, and told the reported 300,000 who gathered: “Courageous choices that can re-create a strong alliance between man and earth must be made before it is too late.” The proposed re-alliance, advanced under threat of cosmic doom, is actually a retrograde to subsistence communal living in groveling subservience; this time to the church of Gaia (mother earth) into which the pope is reinventing the Catholic Church.

To accomplish the transition, the pope is positioning his nicolaitans to add to their sacerdotal powers the credentials of high priests and oracles for the earth. The tenet that the earth speaks to us is already an established one in religious environmentalism circles, and those who would wear the mantle of interpreters would wield great power over the masses. Green Evangelicals and their like have already made inroads towards establishing this priesthood by lobbying for Green legislation, and by entering government service or becoming bureaucrats themselves. Not to be outdone, and perhaps recognizing an opportunity to bring wayward Protestants back into the fold, the pope has decided to capitalize on the religious force behind environmentalism. He knows that no religious organization can upstage the Roman Catholic Chruch when it comes to supplying the ostentatious displays of ritualism so necessary to compensate for the absence of spirit in gods of wood and stone, and planets.

The list of eco-sacraments displayed at the Catholic festival, also known as “Save Creation Day,” included backpacks made from recycled plastic, color-coded trash liners for segregating refuse, and prayer books printed on recycled paper. The most telling object, however, was the hand-crank operated flashlights (or battery chargers). These flashlights should be operated by advanced solar technology and not with what, by twenty-first century standards, is crude survivalist stick-friction. This is worthy of note on the point that this is a religious ceremony marked by religious rites of observance, and religious rites are exercises that must be performed. They are indispensable to all man-made religions because they most clearly evidence subjugation, and rituals accelerate actual mental assent through the process of cognitive dissonance.

This eco-friendly rally was a trial run at engendering the apostate Evangelical equivalent of Creation Care in the Catholic youth, and at large. “We need a decisive ‘yes’ to care for creation,” the pope said at the rally. This is a glimpse into the coming world wide Church-State religion that will be headed up in the Roman Catholic Church, and which is depicted in The Revelation.

For this festival, the pontiff wore green vestments portending the coming Green religion. In the coming tribulation period, this mother of harlots is pictured arrayed in scarlet attire possessing the combined wealth of the Vatican and the lukewarm, Laodicean remains just before the kings of the earth turn on her and destroy her. It will be in fulfillment of God’s judgment on the whore “drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus” (Rev 17: 6). This is what makes the damnable doctrine of Creation Care of particular odium. It is a siren song of apostasy among professing Christians who will martyr true Christians who will turn to Christ during the tribulation period.

As the campaign progresses, Green festivities are also scheduled to continue next year Down Under for the Catholic World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia. No doubt there will be more more eco-rites as the pope circumvents Greens, and Green Evangelicals, to advance his position as pontiff of the New Church of Gaia; and take the rest in tow. Look out, mate.

In a Newsweek article by Sharon Begley titled “Global-Warming Deniers: A Well-Funded Machine,” published on MSNBC.com, Begley sets out to expose opposition to global warming theorists as coming form disingenuous politicians and big business lobbyists. That, she asserts, is the truth behind the denial of the theory: money and politics. But unwittingly, Begley exposes another sort of denial, and that by her own example.  Begley’s article criticizes the findings of others which are not in agreement with the theory as efforts to “reinforce the appearance uncertainty” within the scientific community over the theory of global warming,¹ and belittles their reports as “not empirical research, but critiques of others’ work.”² Such disparaging slights are not cast, however, when studies supporting this theory are seconded by those who happen to agree with them. These concurring opinions result in the reporting on questionable studies as “peer-reviewed.”³

Yet, research conducted by other scientists using ice core samples, and even ancient DNA, produced results that run counter to the global warming theory studies; and research on published studies claiming to prove global warming have pointed out omissions, and even blatant manipulation of the data tables used in those studies.  For instance, the first IPCC report that produced lots of traction for the theory, and successive reports with discredited methodologies.

In reality, there is plenty of misinformation masquerading as fact that can be reasonably questioned and exposed by scientists and non-scientists alike. To wit, Begley’s criticism appears in Newsweek, decidedly not a scientific journal, where she is critical of scientists and others whose investigations disprove global warming. It’s a privilege, it seems, that Begley would reserve for only those who ascribe to the theory.

Begley clearly disapproves of others, like herself, who would logically examine the case, but find the evidence wanting; and she goes so far as to ridicule them by repeatedly referring to them, along with opposing scientists, as members of “the denial machine.”⁴ While they may not be journalists of Begley’s stature, they do include; other journalists, economists, senators, scientists, including Timothy Ball, Climatology professor, Richard Lindzen, professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT, and Michael Griffin, a top administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. If only they worked at Newsweek, then they could be relied on.

For an example creating your own agreement, Begley references a Newsweek poll which identified “climate change as the gravest environmental threat,”⁵ and this to imply that there is a groundswell of public intellect which has determined global warming is a fact. It’s not carelessness; Begley is too thorough, and has too much help (Eve Conant, Sam Stein and Eleanor Clift in Washington and Matthew Philips in New York contributed to the article). This is a shell game of using the two terms, meaning two different things, interchangeably to bolster what can’t be supported on its own with the evidence (climate change itself is independent of anthropogenic causes). But it fits the worldview according Begley and Newsweek, and that’s what matters. This is the emerging truth about denial; it has taken over large media conglomerates.

Lake Superior is warming and losing water. Since 1979, the average water temperature has increased 4.5 degrees, and in some places the surface temperature has reached 75 degrees. At the same time, Superior’s level is lower than it has been in eighty years. Scientists, however, are mystified. While global warming climate models predict increasing evaporation rates due to the shrinking winter ice cap, those models also predicted more precipitation in the region as global warming continues. It hasn’t happened, and theories are running wild.

Cynthia Sellinger, deputy director of the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory in Ann Arbor, believes the model discrepancy might be caused by a residual effect of the 1990’s El Nino.

Perhaps tiring of stepping on pieces of broken climate models, journalists themselves have begun seeking out alternate explanations for explaining climate change.

Ted Sietsema, a retired guy smoking a pipe in a pub who was interviewed in the same AP news story, went on record to say: “Don’t give me any that global warming stuff. That water is going west.” Sietsema believes the government is secretly draining the lake to water the arid western states where there is more political clot.

As speculative, and unsubstantiated, as the covert water siphoning theory sounds, it is remarkably similar to the tone scientists are striking as successive climate models fail to support the theory of global warming.

Where once the predictive value of climate models was touted by scientists as forthcoming evidence of anthropogenic global warming, the evidence today suggests that many scientists remain blindly committed to their view, despite the models’ failure.

Jay Austin, an assistant professor at the University of Minnesota at Duluth’s Large Lakes Observatory, made this revealing comment on the Lake Superior, climate model mystery: “It’s just not clear what the ultimate result will be as we turn the knob up.” That is really the global warming theory: we’re the ones turning up the heat, no matter what the evidence shows.

Yet, a genuine attempt to prove a theory is an attempt to falsify it, and a genuine attempt to hold on to a prejudice is evident when scientists discard evidence that refutes it.

It’s summer in Iowa, and hailstones the size of basketballs are falling from out of the clear, blue sky. Theories about their origin include high-altitude formation, and toilet waste from commercial airplanes. But the hailstones, estimated at 50 pounds, are clear, too big for plane discharges, and the thunderstorms usually required for their formation were absent.

Called megacryometeors, this phenomenon can occur over coastal areas where there is sufficient atmospheric turbulence capable of holding ice in the upper atmosphere until it grows to be very large, but that doesn’t explain their accumulation over Iowa in the summer. Scientist, however, were quick to round up the usual suspect, and David Travis, a professor of geography at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, tentatively identified global warming as a possible culprit.

The theory is often placed in line-ups for adverse climate occurrences. Because global warming can be ambiguously interpreted (e.g. cooling and flooding are due to warming, but so are drought and heat) to cover unexplained weather phenomena, and because it is also politically advantageous for career building, global warming is becoming the go-to explanation whenever weather makes news. Hailstones as a phenomenon, however, have an established alibi for global warming.

There are hailstones from the past, and ones destined for the future, that defy the global warming explanation. For instance, when the Lord fought for Joshua against the Amorites:

And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.(Jos 10:11; emphasis added)

Then there is the future where God will again fight for Israel, and leave no doubt at to the cause, and the reason, for the coming hailstones:

And I will call for a sword against him [Gog] throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. (Eze 38:21-23; emphasis added)

Certainly, things are about to heat up, but will the theory of global warming be seriously entertained in the eyes of many nations when they do?
