Anti-Incumbent Sentiment Raises Dead

The candidate running against an incumbent mayor died a few weeks before the election, but he won the office anyway. Carl Robin Geary beat out incumbent Barbara Brock by 268 to 85 in Tracy City, Tenn.1 If this small town is a microcosm for this coming November elections, Americans may have a chance to push back against Obama and the democrats’ Marxist take-over before it’s too late. It will be no sure victory to rely on the courts alone to decide the unconstitutionality of Obama Care as they are being packed with communists. Let’s go out there and win one for the Geary!

England’s National Health Service (NHS) will pay an abortion provider over $600 to abort a baby within the first 24 weeks after conception. The only qualification for the taxpayer funded abortion is that the mother must feel disposing of the baby is in her best interest. Mishandle a gold fish in England, however, and the wrath of the government’s righteous indignation will brand, fine, work, and confine the offender.
Employees who put in the years of service required to earn retirees’ health benefits from their companies are destined to be dumped onto the Medicare rolls by the new healthcare law. The law closed a provision where employers received a tax deduction incentive to carry prescription drug benefits for their retired workers. Companies such as AT&T, 3M, Caterpillar, AK Steel Corp, and now Prudential Financial Inc have begun taking millions, and even billions of charges against earnings to adjust for the government takeover of the health care industry.1 These new tax laws are designed to give incentives to employers to discontinue this prescription drug coverage by making it too expensive for them to offer. To compete with companies overseas with much less labor costs, American companies will be forced to cut prescription spending.2 The government’s funnel for collecting everyone into one long waiting line for less care, less often, is taking shape. But less actually is more when the government controls healthcare.
Teachers in England are now required to record instances when racist or homophobic words are used at school and initiate a file on students who use them in a hate register. This requirement is for students aged five and up. Once initiated, the file will be maintained though secondary school. This rule must be complied with whether the child knows the meaning of the words or not. Use of the word “gay” would land a child on the hate registry because that word is often used to denote something inferior and less desirable, and this is the actual reason behind the registry.1 Although the government claims its about bullying, it’s really about something else. Students who discriminate between the practice of homosexuality and heterosexuality and conclude God’s design is to be preferred are being targeted for remediation by the state. They must be taught to believe that both sexual behaviors are equal, and it follows that they don’t graduate until they demonstrate that they have successfully learned the lesson.
An estimated 500 Christians, mostly women and children, butchered with machetes as soldiers delay assistance for two hours in Nigeria. Witnesses describe victims were caught in fish nets and animal traps before being hacked to death by Muslims in the three-hour period on Sunday. Reports claim Muslim village residents warned in advance to escape by text messages. The murderers chanted “Allah is the greatest” in Arabic as the hymn accompaniment to the exercise of their religion of peace.1 This is Islam, and the engine of its violence is 
The majority of wind turbines used to build a Texas wind energy project are scheduled to be manufactured in China. The $1.4 billion project is made possible by stimulus money which is U.S. taxpayer money that was supposed to go towards stimulating the U.S. economy, and not the Chinese economy. Upon learning of this misappropriation of U.S. tax dollars, Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat, New York, has requested a moratorium on spending the money until legislation can be written to stop the flow of stimulus money to foreign countries. Schumer wrote to Steven Chu, Secretary of Energy, that “The idea that stimulus funds would be used to create jobs overseas is quite troubling.”1 In a lame attempt to mollify the Senator, Chu wrote back that the “installation jobs” would be created in America.2 Those American jobs, however, compared to high-skilled manufacturing positions and training, are of far less value in terms of worth and future careers. Obama routinely claims that green jobs are America’s economic future, but any expenditure of American tax dollars to bolster Chinese manufacturing capabilities which at the same time reduces American manufacturing infrastructure to little more than an army of cable installers is un-American.
Because it hasn’t happened, and according to the global warming conspirators’ predictive time line we can tell that it’s not going to happen, now would be a good time to reflect on exactly what anthropogenic global warming was supposed to be. Global warming was something we were destined to witness, experience, and suffer under if we didn’t obey every word that came out of Al Gore’s mouth, give all our money to the UN, and go agrarian (greens eating greens). Americans were decried as the obstructionists who were in large part responsible for impending doom because we wouldn’t knuckle under and commit civilizational suicide.
The English government is spending approximately $92 million dollars to purchase carbon credits as a consequence of surpassing their CO2 emissions cap. The Certified Emissions Reduction (CER) credits will be brokered by Barclays, JP Morgan and company who will earn about $13 million in fee for the transaction.1 The CER program is run by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, and England is forced to pay this emissions fine because they are a signatory to the Kyoto climate treaty. In addition to making bankers richer, the millions of taxpayer dollars go from the pockets of England’s taxpayers to the pockets of corporations in China and India. What England gets in return for all that money is nothing, unless you count the feeling some global warming theorists get for believing they are saving the planet from anthropogenic global warming; which, as Climategate has revealed, is still nothing. America would suffer nearly the same fate as England if we let cap-and-trade legislation pass into law. Eventually, every economy tied to the UN style scam will collapse. Even if Englishmen came to their senses tomorrow and somehow bailed out of the UN’s global warming hoax, they will have as much luck getting their money back as they would chasing a postage stamp in a hurricane.
The Obamacare system currently in use in England shows patients routinely go without food and drink and bathing in hospitals due to budget constraints. Care Quality Commission and Health Department regulators report that as many as 1200 patients who died exceeded those expected from 2005 to 2008. This figure is probably based on records indicating the reasons for admissions, and what the probable outcomes should have been after treating those aliments in a hospital with reasonable standards of care. Obviously, those standards were far from met in a hospital where “some lay in soiled sheets that relatives had to take home to wash, others developed infections or had falls, occasionally fatal,” and where “the attitude of some nurses ‘left a lot to be desired’.”1 Thus far, 400 deaths as Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation have been attributed to substandard treatment described as “appalling” in the TimesOnline.2 Well, bad news first, now the good news. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), working closely with the Obama administration, declared last December that green house gases, including carbon dioxide, are dangerous to human health. This gives the EPA the ability to act alone in setting emission standards that would begin to strangle industry and send America’s economic downturn into a complete nose-dive. Obama is threatening to turn the EPA lose to do just that if he doesn’t get his cap-and-tread legislation from congress which will virtually do the same thing. This ‘damned if you do, and damned if you don’t’ alternative, coupled with the exposure of the global warming hoax still unraveling in the press, has finally prompted states to take action in court. Texas has filed a petition in federal court to challenge the EPA’s authority, and the state of Virginia has done the same. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli noted that the anticipated action of the EPA would put a “staggering burden” on Virginians.1 He’s right. That’s what the EPA wants to do, and that is what Obama wants to do, and they need to be fought until they stagger out of the ring and retire.
